This 2 bedroom, 3.5 baths home, part of which dates back to the early 1700’s, is beautifully appointed with locally sourced furnishings, custom made for the owners. Much of the original art is made by Mexican artists. One of the owners is an interior designer and both are art collectors.

The house is located in Centro, 3 blocks from the Jardin, in walking distance from some of San Miguel’s finest shops and restaurants. The views from the roof top terrace are of houses up the hill and scenes toward the country-side.

The first floor features a living room with a fireplace. Dining room that seats 6 with a fireplace; kitchen with modern appliances and beautiful white Mexican tile. A queen bedroom with a TV and fireplace, ensuite with a lovely modern bath that has 2 sinks and a glass enclosed shower. All of these rooms open to the central courtyard.

The second floor is accessed by steps leading up from the courtyard. There is a gorgeous master bedroom with a king sized bed and ensuite bath with 2 sinks, glass enclosed shower and separate water closet. The bedroom has a TV and a fireplace and opens to a balcony overlooking the courtyard. On the other side of the room there are doors that open to a small terrace, with a few steps up to the furnished and landscaped roof top terrace.

There is a garage on the lower level that will accommodate a very small car or a 4 wheeler.

The house has high speed internet; cable TV with the major networks and several stations that have English language movies.

There is a full time maid 5 1/2 days a week and a gardener 3 days a week. For an additional cost, arrangements may be made for a chef, an additional maid, or anything guests may need to make their visit as comfortable as possible.
